Friday, May 10th, 2013 at 1:41 pm

The second suspect in a Sawyer County murder is going to prison.

WQOW reports that Marvin Corbine Jr., of Hayward, was sentenced Wednesday to 53 years behind bars.

Earlier this year a jury found Corbine guilty in the 2011 stabbing death of John McDaniel. He was also convicted of stabbing McDaniel’s brother, Derrick. The stabbings happened on the Lac Court Oreilles reservation near Hayward.

Detectives said Corbine and Caleb Miller were among a group of people that invaded the victims home and attacked them. Miller was sentenced in March to 40-years.
