Wisconsin Traffic Deaths Falling
Wisconsin’s traffic deaths fell sharply in April.
The Associated Press reports that 28 people died in crashes during the month, 17 fewer than last year and 16 fewer than the five-year average.
Traffic crashes in Wisconsin had killed 134 people this year by the end of April, also down from a year ago.
The numbers are preliminary. State transportation officials say drivers must buckle up to ensure safety and avoid violations.
