One Injured In Car/Bus Accident In NW Wisconsin Last Week

Monday, April 29th, 2013 at 12:33 pm

Some scary moments took place late last week for children on an area school bus. The Inter County Leader reports that a car-school bus accident took place last Thursday morning, April 25, near Clam Falls, east of Frederic.

The paper reports that only one of the 14 students on the bus was injured in any way, and apparently that student suffered a concussion. The paper reports that the driver of the car involved in the crash sustained minor injuries.

Apparently the accident occurred when the bus was east bound on CTH I and was crossing CTH O. As the car was northbound on O the bus driver didn’t see the car and began to cross. The car was unable to avoid the bus and that car sustained front end damage while the bus received only minor damage.
