The Minnesota Wild snapped a three game losing streak on Sunday when they won at Columbus 3-0. The Wild hadn’t won a game in over a week, but took care of business here against the Blue Jackets.

New Wild winger Jason Pominville scored a goal and had an assist for his first points for the Wild since his trade last week. Goalie Niklas Backstrom’s 24 saves were also a big factor in the shutout victory.

The Wild also got power play goals from Ryan Suter and Charlie Coyle. The team is off on Monday but will host the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday night at Xcel energy center.
