Wisconsin Prescription Drug Monitoring Program Now Underway

The Wisconsin Prescription Drug Monitoring Program went into effect this week. The new program requires pharmacies to enter into a database who is getting controlled substances.

The goal is to crack down on those abusing prescription drugs and the new law says all of Wisconsin’s 12,000 pharmacies have to comply.
