Authorities Looking For Two Missing Prisoners From Duluth
Authorities are looking for two inmates that are currently missing from the Duluth Federal Prison Camp.
The two inmates, that escaped Saturday night, are: 64-year-old Michael Krzyzaniak and 67-year-old Gerald Greenfield. Both were discovered missing at about 10pm.
The prison camp is on the former Duluth Air Force Base. U.S. Marshals Service spokesman Thomas Volk told the Star Tribune that prisoners there are “on the honor system” instead of having locked cells.
Krzyzaniak is a 64-year-old white male with brown hair and hazel eyes. He’s 6′ tall and weighs 200 pounds. He’s from Minneapolis and is serving a 12-year sentence for bilking investors out of nearly $26 million.
Greenfield is 67-year-old white male with blonde hair and blue eyes. He’s 5’9″ and weighs 150 pounds. He’s from Bloomington, Minn. and is serving a four-year sentence for conspiracy to commit money laundering in a $2.5 million mortgage fraud scheme.
