Jared Allen Also Had Knee Surgery This Offseason
In NFL news, on Tuesday we found out that Jared Allen had offseason knee surgery. 1500ESPN reports that when Allen went under the knife for a torn labrum in his left shoulder a couple months ago, he also had a minor knee scope. One source categorized the knee surgery as a “minor” cleanup job. The expectation is Allen should be ready for the team’s June minicamp.
Allen is entering his age 31 season, but has been a very healthy NFL player. 1500ESPN also points out that this was the first surgery he’d had since getting his tonsils taken out at age 5.
