Broman Finishes Career With 5119 Points
Lakeview Christian senior guard Anders Broman finished his high school carreer in a loss at Williams Arena on Thursday. Broman and his teammates were defeated by Rushford-Peterson High School 72-54.
Broman, already the state’s all-time leading scorer, added 34 points in his last high school game, a Class 1A quarterfinal loss to Rushford-Peterson. He finished with 5,119 points and led his team to back-to-back state tournaments; the first trips in school history.
Broman averaged more than 40 points per game this season and will play at South Dakota State next season. This season, he and Braham’s Rebekah Dahlman became the first players in the history of the state to surpass the 5000 point milestones.
