UPDATE: Rush City 13-Year-Old Caught With “Hit-List”
The Chisago County Sheriff’s Department reports that a school “hit list” was recovered from a juvenile male student in the Rush City School District late last week. The 13-year-old was already under probation with the county.
Thursday morning, the Department was contacted by Chisago County Probation and told of the findings. Authorities discovered a list of names written by the 13-year old titled “People that won’t be killed”.
Sheriff’s deputies interviewed the male teen, who confirmed that he had put the list together. Two other students confirmed that two lists existed, the other one being the “Hit list”. The second list was recovered the next day on Friday, March 15th.
The 13-year-old was placed under arrest and transported to a secure detention facility in Lino Lakes.
This is the second such incident at Rush City High School this winter as back in December a 17-year old student was arrested after making terroristic threats.
