The Chisago County Sheriff’s office is again calling on the public’s help in finding a bank robber. A reward for information is also being offered.

As we’ve reported before, back on Tuesday, Feb. 19 a white male, approximately 5’7″ tall and weighing about 220 pounds entered the Northwoods Bank in Rush City and robbed it. The man approached the teller, said it was a robbery and that he had a gun. He demanded cash and handed the teller a plastic grocery bag. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and hasn’t been seen since. The vehicle was described as a black two-door compact passenger vehicle.

Northwoods Bank of Minnesota is now offering a reward of $5000 for information leading to the apprehension and conviction of the individual who committed the robbery. Anyone with information is advised to contact the Chisago County Sheriff’s Office at 651-257-4100.
