Braham’s Dahlman Named McDonald’s All American

Friday, February 15th, 2013 at 8:45 am

On Thursday afternoon, ESPNU hosted a selection show for the annual McDonald’s All American Game, which will be held in April. As we’ve reported before, Braham’s Rebekah Dahlman has been selected to play in that game, but on Thursday, it became official.

Dahlman was on the First Thing in the Morning show with Mike Hughes on Friday morning to talk about that accomplishment, and her amazing high school career. During the interview with Mike and Jesse, we joked that Dahlman’s career stats were causing our computers to crash (almost 5000 points, All Time leading scorer for boys or girls in MN history, team has a 138-18 record). Just then, sure enough, a power surge in the studio caused the lights to go off and the board to go out! Listen to the first 7 minutes of the interview below.
