Autopsy Results Back In Christmas Exposure Death In Chetek

Autopsy results are back on the Christmas Day death of Laurie Lindig near Chetek.

The Barron County Sheriff’s Department says her manner of death was an accident. The cause of death was hypothermia due to exposure to the cold. The department says other significant conditions found were methamphetamine abuse with acute intoxication and clinical history of depression and anxiety.

Lindig’s body was found in a wooded area.
