State Patrol Releases Name Of Woman Killed In Friday’s Crash North Of Duluth
The Minnesota State Patrol is now releasing the name of a woman who was killed on Friday north of Duluth in an auto accident. The State Patrol said 19-year old Caitlin D. Kelly of Northfield died when her Honda Civic spun out and went sideways on Highway 61 and struck another vehicle traveling southbound.
According to the incident report, 62-year old Paul Drindak of Thunder Bay was driving the other vehicle, a Chevy Malibu. Drindak was uninjured and his passenger, 61-year old Linda Drindak sustained non-life threatening injuries.
A Minnesota State Patrol spokesman told the Associated Press that troopers responded to the fatal crash at Mile Marker 33 around 3 p.m. That’s near the Lafayette Tunnel, about seven miles east of Two Harbors.
