Gun Advocates Rally In St. Paul And Madison
Gun advocates across the United States held rallies in support of gun rights on Saturday.
In Wisconsin, 500 to 600 gun rights supporters gathered outside the Capitol in Madison. Capitol police spokeswoman Stephanie Marquis told the Associated Press that there were no issues during the protest.
Also on Saturday, about 500 people gathered outside the Capitol in St. Paul to support gun rights.
These were just two of the many rallies scheduled to take place at state capitols across the country on Saturday. The rallies come just days after President Barack Obama proposed new gun-control measures.
