Two Families Displaced From Their Home After Fire

An early morning fire in Wisconsin has displaced two families from their home.

According to the Eau Claire Fire Department, fire crews were called to a fire at a duplex at about 2am Saturday morning. When crews arrived everyone had made it out of the building safely.

Fire crews say when they found light smoke in the second floor apartment. They located the fire in the attic. They were able to get the fire under control but the damage to the building is estimated at 25,000 dollars.

No one was injured in the fire. The Red Cross is helping the two families involved.
