Love Injures Hand, X-Rays Negative
The Minnesota Timberwolves got good news on Thursday night; not only did the team get a much needed road win, but their star player isn’t as badly injured as some had feared. X-rays were negative on Kevin Love’s finger and he was diagnosed with a sprained third metacarpal on Thursday night after his team defeated Denver 101-97.
This is obviously good news for both Love and the Wolves. Many feared that the star forward broke the same bone that was fractured from doing knuckle pushups back in October. Love should be considered questionable for Saturday’s game at home against the Blazers. He had 12 points and 17 rebounds in just 24 minutes on Thursday night.
