MN Woman Sentenced To Life In Prison For Ex-Husband’s Murder
A Minnesota woman who pleaded guilty to murdering her ex-husband and is suspected of also killing her boyfriend has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.
In November, 39-year-old Angelina Omara of Cold Spring, MN. pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the death of James Omara. She was sentenced on Friday in Benton County Court.
Omara is also accused of second-degree murder in the death of her boyfriend, 36-year-old Michael Pies, who was found dead at an Ashland, Wis. hotel the day after James Omara’s death.
Omara is still facing trial for the murder of Pies.
