Pine City 15-year Old In Custody After Bringing BB Gun To School
The Pine County Sheriff’s Office is saying that a 15-year-old brought a cylinder-powered BB gun with a replica silencer screwed onto the end to Pine City High School on Thursday.
Apparently another student reported seeing it and told staff. As the school went on lockdown, the 15-year-old was isolated with a staff member. The pistol was found in the boy’s bag, but didn’t have any BBs in it, according to authorities.
The magazine was empty and there was no air cylinder in the weapon, police say.
The boy is a student of the school and wasn’t belligerent with staff.
He was booked into juvenile jail and is still in custody. WCCO reports that he will be charged with a gross misdemeanor.

The school never went into lockdown I was told! In fact kids didn’t even know about it. Shouldn’t we as Parents know about this too? instead’ve seeing it on the news. The school could’ve used this as a good practice run. I believe The School didn’t handle this well!
