No New Clues On Woman Missing In Chisago County, Candlelight Vigil Planned For Tonight
More than a week after she went missing, the Chisago County Sheriff’s Office has no new information on the whereabouts of Danielle Jelinek.
The 27-year old Oakdale woman was reported missing back Dec. 9. Last week, officials and volunteers focused extensive search efforts around the rural Chisago County home of Jelinek’s acquaintance, 28-year old Aaron Schnagl.
Officials say Jelinek was at Schnagl’s home on the night of Dec. 8. She did not have her phone, purse or shoes when she went missing.
A candlelight vigil is planned for 6:30 p.m. Monday at Five Oaks Church in Woodbury.
Chisago County Sheriff Rick Duncan told the Associated Press that Schnagl was not cooperating with the investigation. Schnagl was charged Tuesday with two felony drug counts relating to the alleged possession and intended sale of marijuana found in his car.
As of Sunday night, Schnagl was being held in Anoka County jail, where he was transferred for a parole violation. He pleaded guilt to a first-degree felony drug charge in 2007. Bail had yet to be set as of Sunday night.
