Little Falls Man Had Recordings Of Teens During Break-In
A Little Falls man accused of fatally shooting two teenagers on Thanksgiving day apparently had a surveillance system that recorded video of the cousins as they broke into his home, court documents say.
The St. Cloud Times reports that the 64-year-old Byron David Smith also made an audio recording of the shootings. The recordings were discovered by officers who searched his home. Smith is charged with murdering Nick Brady and Haile Kifer at that home in Little Falls. During a warranted search, police seized several computer memory cards and computer equipment.
Prosecutors allege that Smith was sitting in a basement chair when he shot Brady, and that he shot Kifer minutes later.
