The Pine City/Rush City Dragons Hockey team faced off against Mora/Hinckley-Finlayson and lost in lopsided fashion 9-1. Mora/Hinckley-Finlayson had the bulk of the penalties, minus one or two major penalties from PC/RC, but still held up against PC/RC’s power plays. PC/RC failed to launch with a poor offense and a lacking defense. The Dragons are a young team under new leadership, and fans of the program need to understand it will take time to gel. On the flipside, Mora/Hinckley-Finlayson looked good in earning their first win.
