President Obama In Madison Today
One Day ahead of the election, and President Obama is in Wisconsin today. Obama was set to meet with voters at a rally near the Capitol in Madison. The Associated Press reports that Air Force One landed at Dane County Regional Airport about 3 a.m. Monday in advance of the president’s campaign appearance.
The appearance marks the third time in five days that Obama has campaigned in Wisconsin leading up to Tuesday’s election. He was in Milwaukee on Saturday and Green Bay on Thursday.
After the Wisconsin stop, Obama is slated to move on to Columbus, Ohio and Des Moines, Iowa. Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney will also be in Columbus, Ohio Monday, along with Florida, Virginia and New Hampshire.
