Obama In Green Bay On Thursday
The Obama campaigned announced that President Barack Obama will be making a stop in Green Bay on Thursday after cancelling plans for a Green Bay stop on Tuesday due to the events of Tropical storm Sandy. The president will speak on the tarmac at Austin Straubel International Airport near Green Bay.
The campaign states that ticket holders of Tuesday’s original stop will have their tickets honored at the airport appearance. Other tickets are available today on a first-come, first-served basis at campaign offices throughout Wisconsin. Gates for Thursday’s appearance will open at 8:30 a.m.
The Obama campaign also announced that Vice President Biden is coming to Superior on Friday afternoon. Biden will speak at Superior Middle School at 1 p.m.
According to many political experts, Wisconsin is a swing state this time around. Both campaigns have been hitting the state hard. On Friday, Biden will also campaign in Beloit, which is not far from Republican Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan’s hometown of Janesville.
