Anyone in Pine County who would like to apply to become a County Master Gardener and enroll in the University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardener Core Course for this winter needs to contact Terry Salmela, U of M Extension Pine County Master Gardener Program Coordinator by November 1 at the Pine County Extension Office. The Extension office is located in the Pine County Courthouse at 635 Northridge Dr. N.W. Ste 280 in Pine City.

This winter’s core course can be taken online at your own pace from January 7 to May 3rd. You may also attend classes at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum from January 11 to February 2nd, 2013.
