Two Died Near Onamia In Sunday Crash

Two Minnesota men died after their car crossed Highway 169, rolled into a ditch and ended up in Mille Lacs Lake.

The Minnesota State Patrol told the Associated Press that the accident happened just after midnight Sunday morning. Killed were the driver of the vehicle, 37-year-old Andrew Nickaboine of Minneapolis, and his front seat passenger, 42-year-old Ronald Dorr of Columbia, Minn.

Both men were transported to Onamia Hospital after the accident where they were pronounced dead. A backseat passenger, Keegan Morrison of Minneapolis, was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
