With the new Vikings stadium scheduled to open in 2016, some are wondering if the city of Minneapolis will again host a Super Bowl.

Sunday, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was in town and was asked that question.

The Vikings have put in an official bid to host the Super Bowl in 2018. The winning city will be announced in the spring of 2014.

The NFL appears to be serious about Minneapolis. While in town KSTP reported that Goodell had talks scheduled with some business leaders.
