Investigation Ends In Reena Mae Williams Case
The Burnett County sheriff’s department has concluded it’s investigation into the drowning of a 3-year-old girl has ended.
Sheriff Dean Roland told WEAU on Wednesday afternoon that he has submitted the case to the district attorney.
Roldand apparently said the report, which was five to six inches thick, did make a recommendation but declined to say what that was.
He also says he requested the district attorney make a charging decision soon.
In August, 3-year old Reena Williams disappeared and was later found dead in a canal just 25-yards from her Danbury home.
