Loading ...Commissioners Report With Steve Hallan (Audio)
On Wednesday, Pine County Commissioner Steve Hallan paid a visit to WCMP. Hallan comes on regularly to discuss recent board meetings at the county level. Commissioner Hallan had a few items on the agenda this week, including a report about at risk children, a hearing on a building refinance, and also some good news for local area businesses – more traffic may be coming soon.
Hallan also reported on a fire that had broken out just east of Pine City in the hours before he came in. Hallan said a neighbor saw it and called 911; thankfully the blaze was extinguished quickly. Hallan also issued a warning reminding folks that the risk for wildfire is high right now.
