Wisconsin DNR Taking Deer Observation For Three More Weeks
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will be taking deer observations for another three weeks.
Officials want anyone who sees a deer to record the date, the deer management unit it was in and whether it was a doe, buck or fawn. After the information is collected, DNR wants the data entered on their website.
Operation Deer Watch survey began Aug. 1 and wraps up on Sept. 30. The DNR hopes to use the survey to track deer reproduction.
