Press Release from PC Chamber:
The Pine City Area Chamber of Commerce would like to extend our congratulations to Adrienne Roubinek the 2012 Outstanding Citizen of the Year. Roubinek joins a growing list of deserving citizens who have worked so diligently to make Pine City what it is today. She and husband, Steve Roubinek, are owners of Roubinek Motors in Pine City.
In one of the nomination letters, Adrienne was described as a “willing player on many teams”. A wide variety of organizations have been touched by Adrienne’s willingness to give back to the community. She is a strong leader and advocate for the arts in Pine City, serving as a founding member of the Pine City Arts Council, and partnering with Heritage Players last summer for the production of “Joseph”. She is a well-loved piano teacher, sharing her love of music with students as well as her church family where she plays on the worship team each month. She is also a business woman who shared her skills as the Chamber Secretary for several years before leaving in 1995. There is no doubt that Adrienne was the right choice for this year’s Citizen of the Year award.
The public is invited to attend a reception honoring Adrienne Roubinek as our 2012 Citizen of the Year. The reception will be held on Sunday, September 30th at the North West Company Fur Post from 4:00 – 5:30 PM. A short program will begin at 4:30 PM. RSVP’s are appreciated, please call 320-322-4040 or email the Chamber at firstname.lastname@example.org.
