Public Memorial Service Held For Danbury Girl
A public memorial service for three-year-old Reena Mae Williams was held last night at at 6 p.m. in Danbury.
The young girl lost her life earlier this month when she drowned in a canal near her family’s Danbury home. Mourners came out in droves to support those grieving over Williams death, and to come together as a community. As we’ve reported before, the little girl wandered off from her home and was found the next day in about four feet of water ina canal about 25 yards away from where she lived.
The initial autopsy findings showed water in her lungs consistent with a drowning.
