Original Broadcast Time : 7:30 pm

We opened our Minnesota broadcast schedule on Thursday night in Rush City as the Tigers played host to the Braham Bombers. After back-to-back winless seasons, the Tigers gained an early season boost with a 27-12 win against a re-building Bombers squad.

Rush City senior Matt Mallinger had a break-out game, having reached the century mark with over 100 yards rushing. Mallinger also scored a pair of touchdowns while grabbing an interception on the defensive side of the ball.

The last time Rush beat Braham was back in 2009, with the Bombers winning the last two meetings in blowout fashion by a combined score of 95-14. Rush City head coach Paul Kirby also received his first high-school football win.

Jesse Logan was on the call along with Nathan Stoa on color. Listen to the audio replay for radio highlights of the action!

first half continued

We regret that the second half did not record. Rush had a five- yard TD run by Johnathan Mielke and a one-yard TD run by Matt Mallinger, both in the fourth quarter.
