K9 Unit Tracks, Finds Braham Man Now Accused Of Burglary
On Sunday at 3:17am the Isanti County Sheriff’s office received a 911 call of a burglary in progress at an occupied residence in the city of Braham, The caller indicated that he and his wife were at home sleeping when his dog woke him up. The caller noticed that the kitchen light was on and went to investiage. Upon walking into his kitchen, the caller noticed a male in his twenties wearing a polo shirt and shorts standing in the kitchen. The suspect then fled the scene.
Deputy Vandervegt arrived with a K9 unit and began to track the suspect. Officers from the Brham Police Department and the Kanabec County Sheriff’s office all responded to assist in setting up a perimeter. The K9, known as Kojack, did track and locate the suspect a short distance from the caller’s residence in a small wooded area. The male suspect was identified as Jordan Paro, a 19-year old man from Braham. Paro was arrested without incident and booked into the Isanti County jail for burglary in the first degree.
