Search Continues Today For Girl Missing In Danbury

Authorities in Burnett County will resume their search for a 3-year-old girl this morning, who they say wandered away from her residence.

Reena Mae Williams was last seen at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night, at her house in Danbury.

Authorities describe Reena as a white female, with green eyes, and blonde hair, worn in a partial pony tail.

Reena was last seen wearing pants, a long-sleeved purple shirt and not wearing any shoes.

Listeners report seeing a Minnesota State Patrol helicopter out after dark on Tuesday night to search for the girl. It’s believed she lives by the river, and the powerplant.

An unofficial volunteer search has tentatively been set to begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning at the ballpark in Danbury.

A statement from the Burnett County Sheriff’s office indicates there is an adequate number of volunteers available locally to assist and if more are needed, a call for volunteers will be issued.
