Tight Race Expected For 3 Dems Hoping To Run Against Cravaack

Minnesotans continue to head to the polls throughout the afternoon to cast votes in today’s primary election. Primaries help parties select the candidates that will run in the fall.

One race garnering a lot of attention is the democratic nomination up for grabs in Congressional district 8. Terryl Clark is going against former Duluth City Council President Jeff Anderson and former Congressman Rick Nolan for the democratic nomination to run against encumbent congressman Chip Cravaack.

Of course, Cravaack stunned the country when up upset long running democrat Congressman Jim Oberstar. Cravaack is seeking a second term.

Polls will stay open until 8pm tonight.
