Minnesota Taking Applications For Wolf Hunting Season
Minnesota is taking applications for the upcoming wolf hunting and trapping season.
The state will use a lottery system to award 6,000 licenses to hunters. The statewide target harvest is 400 wolves. The bag limit is one wolf.
The early hunting season will start November 3. The late hunting and trapping season opens on November 24. If the quota is reached in the state’s three wolf zones, the seasons will close.
Lottery winners will be notified after the application period closes on September 6. Licenses go on sale by October 15.
