After months of trade speculation, The Twins and General Manager Terry Ryan decided to trade away the enigmatic lefty who kept Twins fans wondering for the last half-decade. Francisco Liriano is now a member of the Chicago White Sox.

Late Saturday night, General Manager Terry Ryan dealt away Liriano to the White Sox for two of Chicago’s top young prospects; Infielder Eduardo Escobar, and pitcher Pedro Hernandez. Both flourished in the White Sox minor league system, and have made appearances at the major league level. Both players are considered Rookies.

Coincidentally enough, the Twins take on the White Sox for a three game series at Target Field, starting on Monday.
