Acts such as Weezer, Florence & the Machine and Janes Addiction were scheduled to play in Somerset’s annual summer concert titled the Soundtown Music & Camping festival, but unfortunately the ticket threshold wasn’t enough as the concert was cancelled Wednesday by festival promoters.

The SoundTown Festival was originally scheduled for the dates of July 27-28, and was planned to take place at the Somerset Amphitheater and Event Center.

The General Manager of the amphitheater Mat Mithun stated “We would have loved to have SoundTown return to the Amphitheater this year, but unfortunately the ticket threshold wasn’t met for a festival of that magnitude,”

Over 50 acts were scheduled to perform through the 2 days. A full refund will be given for concert tickets as well as the camping and service fees.
