Bad Accident Closes Sawyer County Road For Hours On Sunday

An early morning car accident in Sawyer County closed a main highway for several hours on Sunday.

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol the accident happened at Pederson Road and Highway 77 about 12:30 a.m. Drivers were asked to travel around the crash until 7 a.m. Officials couldn’t say how many people were involved or how badly they were hurt. That information is expected to be released Monday.
