Adrian Peterson Arrested In Houston

Another Viking has run into trouble with the law.

This one might surprise you though.. Star running back Adrian Peterson was arrested early Saturday in Texas for allegedly resisting arrest after he pushed a Houston police officer outside of a local bar.

It’s been reported that Peterson was with his girlfriend and family, when a group of officers walked in to tell them the bar would be closing soon. After a second time of being told, Peterson then pushed one of the off-duty officers.

It wasn’t your typical arrest either, Peterson had been trying to make his way out the door, when the group decided to jump on his back to tackle the All-Pro athlete to the ground.

Peterson was released early Saturday morning on $1,000 bail.

The only other other legal history Peterson has are traffic violations, the latest being in 2009, when he was caught going 109 mph on a road in Edina before a home game.
