Wild Sign Parise And Suter
While the temperature has been close to triple digits lately, the Minnesota Wild now have fans thinking hockey.
The Wild made a huge splash in the free agent market on Wednesday by signing the top two free agents, forward Zach Parise and defenseman Ryan Suter.
Espn.com is reporting that both deals are worth $98 million over 13 years.
Parise, who is from Minnesota, played for the New Jersey Devils last season and scored 31 goals and had 69 points.
Suter spent all seven of his NHL seasons with the Nashville Predators. The All-Star defenseman had career highs in points last year, with seven goals and 39 assists.
