Missing Boy With Autism Has Been Found Safe
A 5-year-old boy with autism who went missing in Wisconsin on Tuesday has been found safe and is in good condition.
The boy, Scotty Meyer, was first reported missing Tuesday after he slipped out of his family’s Oak Grove home while the air conditioning was being repaired.
At about 8:00 am Wednesday, a house dog found Scotty about a half-mile away from his home, along a bluff by the Mississippi River. Meyer was treated at an area hospital.
According to authorities, the boy was badly dehydrated, sunburned, covered with mosquito bites and suffering from a severe diaper rash.
