Loading ...Pine County Sheriff’s Office Seeking Public’s Assistance In Solving Cold Case
The Pine County Sheriff’s Office, in cooperation with the Sherburne Sheriff’s Office and the MN Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a cold case.
They are looking for any information pertaining to the murder of Dena Anderson in 1996. Anderson was reported missing on November 27, 1996 after she failed to return home. She was last seen at the Broadway Bar and Pizza in Elk River around 11pm. Her car was found the next day parked in the bar’s parking lot.
Six months after she disappeared, her body was found 45 miles away in rural Pine County near Highway 61 just north of Pine City on May 18, 1997.
