Western Wisconsin Man Accused Of Shooting Dog With Arrow
A western Wisconsin man recently found his dog shot with an arrow, and now his neighbor has been charged with doing it.
A Woodville says he thinks his neighbor shot his 14-year-old border collie with an arrow after finding one stuck four inches into the animal’s backside. Fortunately, a vet was able to remove it. Saint Croix County detectives told WQOW that Stuart Kahler told them the dog was in his yard barking at his young children and went into his garage.
WQOW reports that the dog was not actually a danger as detectives say Kahler sent his kids into the house before he shot it with the arrow. Kahler also told detectives the owner’s wife had told him to shoot at the dog with a BB gun when it came into his yard, but he said it kept coming back. Kahler is charged with mistreating animals.
