A Duluth man was arrested Saturday for allegedly robbing a local Cost Cutters.

According to a police press release, the man came into the business, used the bathroom and came out wearing a tan ski mask while holding a knife. Authorities say he told employees “don’t act like a hero and give me all your money…desperate times call for desperate measures.”

The man was given an undisclosed amount of money before he left the business on foot.

Police say they arrested the man after spotting him driving.

The man was taken to the St. Louis County Jail pending a formal First Degree Aggravated Robbery charge.

The incident is still under investigation.
