Jared Allen was the runner-up for the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award in 2011 with a whopping 22 sacks. Despite the havoc he wreaks on the field for the purple, off the field his exploits usually focus on giving back to the community and being an all-around good guy.
Jared Allen’s Homes For Wounded Warriors Foundation will be a major part of the upcoming Pine City Invitationl Bucking Bull Competition on June 2. The foundation raises money to remodel the homes of wounded warriors who have returned to houses that now need modification.
In addition to visiting with our Jesse Logan about the event, Allen also put to rest some longstanding rumors about his hunting expeditions in Pine County and commented on the new stadium bill, which just passed the official City Council vote today.
