One Week Remains Until Recall

Tuesday, May 29th, 2012 at 8:06 am

One week remains until Wisconsin’s unprecedented gubernatorial recall takes place. Yes, one week from today, on Tuesday, June 5 the recall election between Gov. Scott Walker and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barett will go down.

Walker defeated Barett less than two years ago, but the rematch has been set up after Walker’s hard line approach against the unions resulted in an attempt to oust him from office. The people of the state have been bombarded with ads of all type: TV, Radio, Print, Bilboards, Signs, and online campaign efforts including Email and banner ads. Basically, if you didn’t know a recall was happening next week in Wisconsin, you’re probably not paying much attention.

In addition to the governor’s race, there are several other office holders also being recalled including the State’s Republican Lt. Gov. and several Republican State Senators.

We will cover the election heavily next Tuesday and Wednesday on SAM1057.
