Emergency Aircraft Landing Takes Place In Duluth.
The Duluth International Airport received a surprise Friday night.
An Allegiant Airlines flight en route to Las Vegas called for an emergency landing on Friday at approximately 9pm after the aircraft had experienced an engine failure.
The plane had been airborne for 15 minutes before passengers stated that they started feeling turbulence. Shortly after, an announcement was made that the plane was returning to Duluth for an emergency landing.
The Hermantown Fire Department told WDIO that emergency crews were responding from the entire region.
