Two Confirmed Whooping Cough Cases In Pine County Last Week

Pine County has seen an increase in pertussis (whooping cough) cases recently, two within the last week.

Pertussis, or whooping cough, is a persistent cough illness. Pine County hasn’t had a confirmed, reported case in the county for at least five years. Cases throughout the state are on the rise.
