Unanimous: Pine County Board Votes To Leave Districts As They Are (Audio)

Tuesday, May 1st, 2012 at 12:03 pm

The Pine County Board met this morning in a full board room at the courthouse to take up a potentially explosive vote on weather or not to redistrict Pine County. Several members of the public were allowed to speak and offer their comments, and those that did all spoke against redistricting. Commissioner Carlson made a motion to leave the districts as they are. Carlson spoke candidly.

The motion by Commissioner Carlson was agreed upon unanimously by the board, meaning that no two commissioners will be paired together forcing an election.

Commisioner Carlson is offended about voters voicing thier opinion? What a BOOB! If he feels offended by comments from the people who elected him then he is folowing his own agenda and not listening to anything but his own antiquated good ol’ boy thoughts about things. Stop talking and trying to backpedal on things, listen the first time and carry out your job in the manner the PEOPLE want you to not what your buddies on the board want. The same goes for most of our other commisioners.
